We might just be in the middle of dry January, but cocktails February is just around the corner.
The popular annual event which runs from Thursday, February 1 to Sunday, February 11, is a chance for drinkers to sample a different tipple in the Towns.
Originally launched as part of a Covid recovery scheme for the hard-pressed hospitality business, it returns to Rochester to boost a traditionally quiet time of the year for bars, pubs, and restaurants.
Confirmed venues taking part include: Lux Lounge, The Dead Pigeon, Padrino, The Royal Crown, Bodega 51, The City Wall, Fish at 55, King’s Head, and The Nags Head, with many more outlets expected to sign up across the next fortnight.
Each venue will be choosing or creating at least one cocktail that will be available exclusively to wristband wearers for just £5.
Wristbands, which are usually £10, are currently just £5 in a limited early bird sale, available to buy here, and there is also an additional “group save” option allowing consumers to purchase six wristbands for the price of five.
Rochester Cocktail Week is one of three events planned across 2024, including Maidstone Cocktail Week from May 1 to 12 and Medway Cocktail Week summer edition from August 1 to 11.
More events and locations are being planned as we speak and will be unveiled soon.
