Barclays has written to customers telling them their local branch is to close.
The multi-national says its bank in High Street, Rainham, will stop operating on October 15.
Falling numbers of users are being blamed, as customers turn to telephone and online banking.
It says it has identified that only 157 customers use the branch exclusively.
The business has told people wishing to use a branch that the closest ones are High Street, Chatham, or High Street, Sittingbourne, which are 3.9 miles and 5.8 miles away respectively.
In May, KentOnline reported how the company's Strood branch had closed and the firm was intending to shut its Dover and Faversham branches in June and August.
People commenting on the Rainham Community Facebook page have said they worried for elderly people who aren't able to do online banking or mobile enough to travel.
The branch was in the headlines in March last year when climate change activist superglued its locks.
Nationwide and NatWest remain in the town.
