The stabbing to death of 17-year-old Kyle Yule has now resulted in a fifth teenager being charged with his murder.
A 16-year-old from Croydon, who is also accused of affray, appeared before Maidstone magistrates today and is due at the Crown Court on Monday.
A murder investigation was launched after police were called to East Street in Gillingham at 8:10pm on Friday, October 6 where Kyle Yule, who lived in the town, had been critically injured.
A number of people were reported to have been causing criminal damage to a silver Renault Clio before former Brompton Academy pupil Kyle was stabbed. He later died in hospital.
Already a 17-year-old boy, two 16-year old boys and 19-year-old Victor Maibvisira of St Johns Road in Gillingham have all previously been charged with murder and affray.
All four defendants have pleaded not guilty to the murder charge, and been remanded before a provisional trial on Monday, April 9.
