Yesterday afternoon we reported that Mr William Fleming was targeted by a gang of unidentified people near Canterbury Crown Court.

We reported that Mr Fleming's car was stopped and he was attacked by a large group of people in Clement Close.

We would like to clarify that the events in Clement Close had nothing to do with Mr Fleming, his family, or the court case that has just ended, and was an entirely unrelated incident.

Mr Fleming was not beaten up yesterday afternoon, and we would like to apologise to Mr Fleming and his family for any distress the story caused.
