A brand new water park will be making a splash at a popular lakeside attraction.
Inflatable obstacles and slides will be the latest addition to St Andrews Lakes in Halling near Rochester for some family fun when it opens this weekend.
St Andrews Aqua Park will open on Saturday, May 29 and bookings – which must be made in advance – are set to be available soon, managers said.
Numbers will be limited to 30 people in each session to reduce congestion and crowding on the inflatables.
It will be available for youngsters aged six and above with a minimum height restriction of 120cm.
The park can also be booked for private parties.
The venue, which will be manned by full-time lifeguards, will offer 50-minute sessions on the variety of different styles of floating bouncy castles.
Buoyancy aids will be available for all participants making it a fun day out for people of all swimming abilities and must be worn at all times.
A statement on the attraction's website said national safety guidelines and staffing levels will followed throughout each session to ensure the most strict safety procedures are adhered to.
St Andrews Lakes spokesman Ed Baker said: "We're extremely excited to be launching a very much needed outdoor family attraction in the Medway area.
"Safety of all our customers is paramount and we have implemented a wide variety of Covid-19 safety measures."
Sessions are priced £20 per person and available until October half-term.
