Are you ready?
Some homes in Medway will switch to digital TV on Wednesday, despite a billboard campaign saying otherwise.
The analogue transmitter at Blue Bell Hill will be one of Britain's last to switch off in June, as promoted on signs like the one above in Station Road, Strood.
But not every aerial in the Towns points to it. If you receive London regional news instead of ITV Meridian and BBC South East Today, your signal will disappear at midnight tomorrow.
The London transmitter at Crystal Palace starts broadcasting digital TV at 6am on Wednesday, with relay stations following throughout the day.
Several homes in Rochester and Strood point towards Crystal Palace.
A Digital UK spokesman said it was impossible to know how many Medway homes will be affected, as it depends which way aerials point.
However, the spokesman added: "If you are pointing towards London you will have been receiving messages on your screen, which is a crystal-clear way of making sure people know."
Digital UK has spent more than a year providing information about the switchover in shopping centres, high streets and leaflet drops.
Residents who already have satellite TV or Freeview do not need to take any action.
However, others may need to have their televisions converted or buy a new set. Plug-in Freeview boxes are also available for as little as £20.
Digital TV requires a stronger signal than analogue TV so some aerials will need to be replaced.
