An arrest has been made after a woman was allegedly poisoned by a vape given to her at a festival.

The alleged spiking is reported to have happened at the Isle of Wight festival on Saturday (June 17), and a man from Rochester has been arrested.

The victim, 26, was left unconscious and needed medical assistance after using the vape.

A man, 51, from Rochester was arrested on suspicion of administering a poison or noxious substance with intent.

He has been released on conditional bail while inquiries continue.
