Five people have been arrested in connection with drugs offences in Medway.
At about 8.45pm on Tuesday, May 14, officers were carrying out house-to-house enquiries in New Road, Chatham, following an unrelated incident, when they smelt cannabis coming from a property.
The officers conducted a search of the property and found drugs believed to be Class A and B and estimated to be worth more than £3,000.
All four occupants found at the property were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply; a 24-year-old man of no fixed address, a 30-year-old man from Chatham, an 18-year-old woman from Chatham and a 25-year-old man from Gillingham.
Officers investigating the incident arrested a 21-year-old man, from Chatham, the next day on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.
All five people have been bailed until July 12, pending further enquiries.
