Police and Kent and Medway Trading Standards have joined forces to tackle doorstep crime.
The day of action, held last week, led to 43 vehicles and one drug offence related arrest in Medway.
Officers spent the day checking credentials of vehicles and traders to identify and deal with anyone trading illegally.
Officers also visited sites where there was ongoing building work to make enquiries with people working on these premises.
Police officers also used Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and carried out random stop checks in Medway and West Kent to verify credentials of traders.
In Medway one arrest was made for possession with intent to supply drugs.
Four vehicles were seized for having no insurance. Three fixed penalty notices were issued for driving with no insurance, one summons issued for driving with no insurance.

Medway Trading Standards issued six advice notices.
Supt Peter Wedlake from Kent Police said: ‘We wanted to put out a message to traders who are operating illegally.
“A great deal of intelligence from officers visiting premises has been gathered and we have seized a number of vehicles from traders who were driving with no insurance.
“We have focussed on this national day of action in stopping vehicles to check credentials, but officers will continue to identify and deal with anyone trading illegally.”
