Police were called to Rochester Street and closed the road for several hours between Gladstone Road and Corkwell Street.

The three men, who all suffered stab wounds, were treated at the scene by ambulance crews before being taken to hospital and officers started to investigate the fracas.

People living nearby said the road was closed before 7.15am, when they saw three police cars parked outside a house and a man covered in blood in the street.
