Business is booming at a new car boot sale as punters line up each week to grab themselves a bargain.
The recently relaunched Rainham Bootfair opened for trade in South Bush Lane with social distance measures in place last month.
It replaces the popular Westmoor Farm Bootfair which is no longer running due to the new secondary school being built on the site which is set to open in September 2021.
Open weekend at the new location on June 28 saw around 130 stalls set up as punters flocked to seek out hidden gems.
Site manager Declan Jewell says the event continues to prove popular come rain or shine.
The 30-year-old said he had received direct feedback from once skeptical customers who now say they love browsing outdoors after being stuck inside during lockdown.
"I have done four now in total," he said, before adding "it is hugely dependant on the weather".
But he hastened to add the rain had not put off bargain hunters, only sellers.
Declan said: "The amount of buyers was not affected only sellers. The quantity of people turning up remained the same."
More socially distanced events will soon be popping up at the site including a drive-thru cinema later this month.
Rainham Bootfair takes place on South Bush Lane every Sunday with sellers pitching up from 6am and punters allowed on site from 7am.
