A spokesperson for the club said: "Tickets are on sale until Sunday so we’re expecting a bumper crowd."
Rochdale have a maximum allocation of around 2,000 seats for the game, but these are unlikely to be all taken.
Mark Stimson's team travel to Rochdale today (Wednesday) as final preparation for their crunch game begin in earnest. They will be hoping for a repeat of their win against their play-off rivals in the final League Two game of the season on Saturday.
Gills have so far sold 433 tickets for the first leg. Those have only been on sale to season ticket holders and go on general sale tomorrow (Wednesday).
A win over the two legs would result in a first trip to teh new Wembley for the Gills faithful. Promotion to League One would result in an estimated £1m for the club.
