Motorists faced heavy delays after a cyclist was injured in a crash on Chatham Hill this morning.
Police were called when the man's bike collided with a car shortly after 6am.
The cyclist suffered a large cut to his face, but his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Traffic built up as police closed the road at the Luton Road junction for almost an hour.
It is the second time a cyclist has been injured on Chatham Hill in as many weeks.
A rider suffered serious head, chest and arm injuries after being involved in an accident with a BMW car at about 3.40pm on Friday, April 29.
The man, is in his 50s, was airlifted to hospital by the Kent Air Ambulance, but is now said to be recovering well.
