Two men caught on camera stealing Aprilia Tuono bike in High Dewar Road, Rainham

Footage has been captured showing the moment two thieves made off with a motorbike outside its owner's home.

Two men were seen approaching the black and red Aprilia Tuono 125 parked along High Dewar Road, Rainham.

The video shows the pair riding past before turning round to inspect the parked vehicle.

They then appear to tamper with it before riding away with the bike which costs between £400-600.

The incident happened at around 11.46pm on Saturday and the owner reported the stolen vehicle to the police the next day.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said: "An investigation is ongoing including the review of any CCTV evidence.

"There have been no arrests made."

There have been reports of other bikes being stolen in the area but police say there is nothing to link the suspected thefts to any other incidents.
