A fire that engulfed a disused holiday chalet at Allhallows Leisure Park is being treated as arson.
Fifteen firefighters were called to the Haven resort at 10.30pm on Saturday, but the empty wooden chalet was destroyed.
Crew manager Peter Harris, from Strood fire station, said: "It was a small chalet, one of the old-style ones.
"We were told it hadn’t been used for more than six months and the lease had expired, so it was due to be demolished."
The blaze was out in about an hour after crews used water jets and a fan to prevent it spreading to other chalets.
