Blue Peter presenter Peter Duncan to appear in Chatham panto

Actor and presenter Peter Duncan - best known for being in front of the camera on Blue Peter, is treading the boards in panto in Chatham.

Peter (pictured right), who hosted the programme in the 1980s, will be appearing as Muddles in Rapunzel at The Central Theatre, alongside a host of other children’s TV favourites.

Jenny Jones from CITV’s Hi-5 will be in the title role and Jon Moses from ITV’s Superstar, will appear as The Prince.

Kay Purcell who plays Gina in Tracy Beaker Returns and The Dumping Ground, is Gothel the Enchantress and Joe Chambers and Andrew Crawford, who appear in CBeebies The Rhyme Rocket, play the Jesters.

The show is taking to the stage on Thursday, May 30 at 3pm and 7pm, and Friday, May 31, at 1pm and 4.30pm. It promises to be packed with songs, dance routines and plenty of laughter for all the family.
