A 16-year-old boy has been charged after a car was stolen during an early morning raid on four homes.
Attempts were made to break into two houses in Clinton Avenue, Strood in the early hours of Wednesday, April 17.
Entry was then gained to a property in Crispin Road around 20 minutes later where a handbag was reported stolen.
A car was allegedly stolen from an address in Rede Court Road shortly afterwards.
It is believed the keys had been taken from inside.
Police arrested a teenager from Essex on Friday, April 19.
He has since been charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of attempted burglary, aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving and driving without insurance.
He was remanded in youth detention and is due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (April 25).
