A key road was partially blocked both ways after a four-vehicle crash.

It happened at Hillcrest Road, Chatham, this evening just after 5.30pm.

The A230 Maidstone Road was affected.

A Kent Police spokesman said: “This was a collision involving four vehicles, reported to us at 5.37pm.

“ Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene and there were no serious injuries reported.”

The road was clear by 7pm.
