Have you seen this burglar?
He’s on the run from prison and detectives trying to find him say he may be in Medway as he has strong links to the Towns.
Adrian John Gowers, 45, was jailed for seven years in October 2007 after carrying out two cash machine burglaries in Birchington.
In November last year, he was granted temporary release to an address in Rainham, but he failed to return to HMP Hollesley Bay, Suffolk.
Gowers also has connections to the Maidstone and Swale areas.
He and three others carried out cash machine raids at Barclays Bank, and Midland Bank, Birchington, where £135,000 was stolen.
Both offences happened in the early hours of July 14, 2007 and a stolen JCB digger and a stolen flatbed lorry were used.
His three accomplices remain in prison.
Det Con Simon Mather of Kent Police’s force intelligence bureau, said: “Gowers is unlawfully at large having served only two years of his prison sentence.
“He is not known to use any aliases and we believe he previously worked as a builder.”
