A 43-year-old Kent taxi driver was crushed to death when the vehicle he was working under collapsed on top of him.

A Kent Air Ambulance crew was called but 43-year-old Dave Ellott was pronounced dead before they arrived.

The tragedy happened on Tuesday in Sherwood Avenue, Walderslade, near Chatham.
