Mum Hannah Calvert is proving a hit with singers, actors and TV personalities who simply love her cakes.
Hannah’s firm Heavenly Tiers made the cupcakes for Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan’s wedding last month.
The TOWIE and Strictly Come Dancing star and former Coronation Street actress chose the firm to make cakes featuring photos of the happy couple.
Hannah, 32, has also made cakes for singer Peter Andre, EastEnders’ actor Danny Dyer and the programme’s former star Danniella Westbrook, glamour model Nicola McLean and other members of the cast of TOWIE.
The mum-of-three runs Heavenly Tiers from her home in Geneva Avenue, Gillingham.
She said: “I started baking six years ago. I never used to bake but my daughter wanted a butterfly birthday cake which the supermarkets didn’t sell so I made one myself and it was fantastic – everyone told me how lovely it tasted.
“So I soon started it up as a hobby. I made many cakes for friends and family then decided a couple of years ago I could make a business out of it.
“I’ve had quite a few celebrity orders, including Peter Andre, who wanted cupcakes on two occasions: for his music tour aftershow party and a press conference when he launched his fragrances.”
The Mysterious Girl singer was the first celebrity Hannah baked for and he got in touch after she met his manager at the Sugar Hut club in Brentwood, Essex.
Hannah said that being on Twitter helps with her famous customers as she has a direct link to them.
She said: “I make a lot of cakes for Mark Wright’s family; his mum Carol ordered their engagement cake as a surprise, last year, then when they were planning the wedding, Mark and Michelle asked if I’d do a cupcake tower for the reception.”
