Love Island viewers are calling for a Kent contestant to be removed from the show after social media posts emerged of her appearing to support Tommy Robinson.
Former MidKent College student Ellie Jones, who is from Chatham, used emojis in Facebook posts last year which appeared to applaud videos posted by the far-right political activist.
The 22-year-old appeared to support a video featuring Tommy Robinson, who was jailed for 13 months in May for potentially prejudicing an ongoing trial, entitled "Why do we let these terrorists back into our country?"
She used an 'OK' hand gesture emoji while sharing another video on Facebook from a man which said: "LONDON. I'm not a racist, but this guy speaks sense! he is branded a racist by many.. whether he is or isn't that's none of my business.
"I just know he speaks the truth."
Love Island bosses are facing calls on social media for Jones to be removed from the ITV2 show, barely a week after she entered the programme.
On Twitter, @yanoldk said: "So turns out Ellie (Jack's ex) is one of those people. She needs to get straight in the bin. #LoveIsland".
Meanwhile @malaikahhh tweeted: "racist and offensive values do not qualify as a political opinion"
ITV said it had nothing to add to the story.
