Sweet and gentle Pippa was two years old when she was rescued by the Medway RSPCA in 2006 and adopted by a couple in the area.
Now 12 years old, despite enjoying a decade of love and cuddles, Pippa is looking for a new home.
For many years Pippa’s owner has suffered from sinus and chest problems.
Last year he started working away from home for long periods.
He noticed that while he was away his symptoms cleared up, but whenever he returned home they soon flared up again. He soon came to realise that he was prone to a cat allergy of some kind – the cat being Pippa.
Fosterer Bobbie Bajwa said: “Pippa has a loving nature.
“She is a very calm cat and would never bite or scratch anyone even when playing, it’s just not in her nature.
“Pippa is exceptionally clean and cannot rest until she has washed herself from nose to tail.
“She comes from a no-smoking home and her short hair fur is unmatted and always shiny.
“This ginger and white girl has very attractive, large eyes. She is a very well behaved lap cat who was fully trained to go outside for the toilet and then straight back indoors.
“Pippa, I understand, rarely wandered far from home.
“Pippa spends most of the day sleeping but, once awake, makes a beeline for the nearest lap.”
Pippa is neutered and microchipped and is up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments.
