Police stop car with smashed windscreen on A2

A motorist has been stopped by police for driving a car with a smashed windscreen at night.

The glass was so badly damaged it was impossible for the driver to see where he was going.

A police patrol pulled over the car on the A2 near Cobham just before 10pm last night (Sunday). (Oct 31)

In a tweet, stunned officers wrote: "Vehicle stopped driving in this outrageous condition on the A2 near #cobham. Also not insured. Seized and reported for all offences."
