A motorist ploughed through a fence after losing control of his car on a bend.
The VW Golf came off the road in Strood just yards from the scene of a double-fatal accident two years ago.
Firefighters were called to Station Road at about 3pm on Saturday after the car hit a fence near the railway station.
The young driver was able to get out of the car by the time the crew arrived and is not thought to have suffered serious injury.
A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "No other cars were involved in the accident.
"The driver lost control of the vehicle and hit the fence, the weather conditions were wet."
Elsie Blades, 84, and her 60-year-old daughter Marilyn Herlihy were killed as they crossed the same road in July 2009.
Jamie Smith, 19, of Alamein Avenue, Chatham, was jailed after admitting two counts of causing death by dangerous driving.
Smith was jailed for five years, but last month had his sentence slashed to three.
