Car crashes into home in Wigmore Road, Gillingham

Dramatic images show a car precariously wedged into the front of a house.

The crash happened in Wigmore Road, Gillingham, prompting a response from emergency services.

Police, paramedics and fire crews were called just before 7pm on Thursday, May 30 to reports a car had struck a house.

One fire engine attended and when it arrived everyone was already out of the vehicle.

South East Coast Ambulance says paramedics treated three people before discharging them from their care.

Neighbours said it looked as though the car was coming around the mini-roundabout when it came off the road.

Arrangements were made to recover the black Suzuki.

The owners were back in the house on Monday (June 3) and said they were waiting for instructions from their insurer.

The car had been removed and the wall boarded up.
