Travellers have moved on to a park and ride car park.

The visitors have set up home on the Medway Council and Kings Ferry site in Maidstone Road, Wigmore.

It is thought they arrived yesterday. Several caravans, cars and horse trailers are parked at the site.

Kings Ferry tweeted on Thursday: “Good morning everyone, passengers getting on at Wigmore car park please be advised the car park is still occupied by travellers.”

Later they added: “Police have been called again regarding Wigmore car park, they will be doing what they can to get them removed as soon as possible.”
