A care home worker lured a high-rolling gambler to his death in a honey-trap murder before filming an accomplice stuffing £10 notes into his underpants, the Old Bailey heard.
Healthcare assistant Leonie Granger, 25, of Balmoral Road, Gillingham, was seen 'kissing passionately' with poker ace Mehmet Hassan, 56, at Palm Beach Casino in the hours before the killing, jurors were told.
Mr Hassan was tied up and savagely kicked to death after he took Miss Granger back to his flat in Baxter Road, Islington, north London.
The prosecution suggests Granger let defendents Nicholas Chandler, 28, of Bow, and Kyrron Jackson, 27, of Lewisham, into Mr Hassan's flat before leaving in a taxi.
The driver heard her shouting into her mobile: “Don't tell me the money's not there. I saw it… look in the drawer… look under the cabinet”, it is claimed.
“So while Mr Hassan's body lay undetected in his flat, the prosecution allege that his killers were quite literally throwing his money around” - prosecutor Crispin Aylett QC
Investigators later found a film on her phone which showed Granger, Jackson and Chandler “holding bundles of £50 notes”.
“At one point, Chandler is spraying £50 notes all over the floor, while Jackson is stuffing £10 notes into his underpants,” said prosecutor Crispin Aylett QC.
“So while Mr Hassan's body lay undetected in his flat, the prosecution allege that his killers were quite literally throwing his money around.”
Jurors were shown the footage in court. Jackson is wearing a gas mask while Granger is heard laughing.
Mr Hassan was a well-known character in West End casinos, known to win up to £15,000 in a day.
Phone records showed the three defendants were in contact before the murder.
Granger denies murder and conspiracy to falsely imprison Mehmet Hassan. She has admitted her part in his robbery.
Chandler and Jackson have denied murder, conspiracy to rob and robbery.
The trial continues.
