A man has been arrested after another was assaulted and suffered serious facial injuries in an alleged nightclub attack.
The victim, who is in his 20s, is said to have intervened in an altercation between two groups while at The Casino Rooms, in Rochester.
He was then allegedly attacked by another man and suffered serious injuries to his face.
The incident is thought to have happened at around 11.45pm on Friday, December 13.
A police investigation is underway and officers have been completing inquiries, including reviewing CCTV footage at the premises in Blue Boar Lane.
It has since been confirmed a suspect has been arrested.
