Detectives investigating the murder of a 35-year-old in Gillingham have released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to.
The victim was stabbed to death in Fox Street after a suspected argument with another man at around 1.10pm yesterday (Friday).
Emergency services rushed to the scene, where the man was sadly declared dead.
Officers remain in the area today, carrying out enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
They are also searching the area for any weapons that may have been discarded, and have seized a knife that is due to undergo further testing.
A post mortem examination was due to take place today. No arrests have yet been made.
The murder investigation team would like to hear from anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV images.
Police also continue to appeal for dash cam footage.
They are looking to hear from anyone who has footage from driving through or parking in 10 locations in the town, including Fox Street.
These are: High Street, Jeffery Street, King Street, Balmoral Road, Railway Street, Malborough Road, Lock Street, Britton Street and Skinner Street.
Footage can be uploaded directly to the Kent Police section of the Major Incident Public Reporting Site.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw or heard two men arguing is urged to call 101 quoting reference 20-0860.
