Paul Foley wants his Chatham team to find the winning habit again as the Ryman League, Division 1 South season heads toward the halfway stage.
The Chats boss (pictured) said: "We are behind where want to be points-wise and I would like us to get to the 30-point mark and then have a strong second half of the season.
"There is not a lot in it. From the top to bottom, there are no stand-out teams, and everyone is similar.
"Bognor Regis are probably the exception but we haven’t played them yet."
Chatham face Fleet at Maidstone Road on Saturday, and Foley added: "It will be another close game. Nobody has spanked us so far this season. We have lost close games and ones we should be winning."
Gary Ward misses the Fleet game due to a one-match ban while Foley will need to decide whether he sticks with the same formation that saw Chatham gain a creditable goalless draw at Walton & Hersham.
Foley fielded nine first-teamers in the reserves’ 3-1 Floodlight Trophy win against Lordswood on Tuesday.
Chatham are looking to appoint a new head of youth and junior football, a voluntary post which includes a seat on the club’s board.
