Tom Dallas made it 10 fights unbeaten with a first round knockout at the Goresbrook Leisure Centre in Dagenham on Friday night.
The Chatham heavyweight needed just one minute and 54 seconds to see off Lincoln journeyman Lee Swaby in ruthless fashion.
A right hook left Swaby on the canvas and unable to recover from the blow. It means Dallas has an impressive unbeaten professional record of 10 straight wins – having stopped his last eight opponents inside the distance.
For 25-year-old Dallas (pictured) it was a case of practice makes perfect.
"It felt good," he said. "I had been practising with my trainer for the last week, backing my opponent onto the ropes and throwing that nice clean right hand. I went in there and did it, and knocked him out."
Dallas had been keen to get some rounds under his belt, having only managed 18 in his previous nine bouts, but even Lincoln hard-man Swaby was no match.
"I thought he would maybe go a few more rounds – maybe three or four," said Dallas. "But if you catch someone clean as a heavyweight it can be over in just one punch.
"He has been around and fought some good boys. Tyson Fury stopped him in four and that was my goal, to get him in four or less, so first round I’m happy with that.
"It was meant to be my toughest one but then saying that he probably hit me more in the first round than I have been hit in the last five fights. I caught a few, so at least I earned my money!"
