Chatham remain in the hunt for a top-10 finish in Ryman League Division 1 North, according to assistant manager Keith Levett.

Chats are unbeaten in five league games – although they have only taken seven points from that run – to sit 15th ahead of Saturday's visit of 19th-placed Harlow.

Town have eight games remaining and have a seven-point gap to close on Needham Market who are 10th and have a game in hand.

Levett said: "It might be a bit of an ask but top-10 has to be the target. We will try to finish as strong as possible and get some momentum to take into the start of next season.

"Top-half is realistic, I don’t think we are a bottom-half side but talk is cheap and we have not got the points on the board."

Levett added: "We have beaten a lot of the sides around us so far this season and have a few of them in the run-in.

"Harlow are not a bad side but they have had their problems this season. If we can take six points from them on Saturday and at (11th-placed) Brentwood on Tuesday, then it will definitely be on."

Matt Solly (pictured) and Jamie Lawrence will be assessed before the Harlow game, while Lee Hales begins a ban but manager Kevin Watson was hoping to add a young midfielder to his squad in time to feature.
