Chatham Town boss Kevin Watson is hoping to end a run of draws with victory this weekend against Tilbury

Draw specialists Chatham have left manager Kevin Watson wondering whether his glass is half-full or half-empty going into the final four weeks of the season.

The Chats shared the points for a fifth game running on Tuesday night when their trip to Brentwood ended in stalemate. Watson’s side are six games unbeaten but they have won just once since January.

Watson (pictured) said: "Five draws on the bounce is good in some aspects but it’s only five points from five games, which is not where we want to be.

"If we go unbeaten to the end of the season, I’d take that but it would just be nice to get a couple of wins."

Chatham have seven games left in Ryman League Division 1 North, starting with the visit of Tilbury on Saturday.

Watson is already running the rule over his squad with an eye on next season.

He said: "We’re giving people a chance for next year. It’s about educating players but we’ve still got targets and we still want to achieve something this year."
