Chatham Town chairman Jeff Talbot is happy with the way the club are preparing for their return to Ryman Division 1 North next season.

Mr Talbot (pictured) had a meeting with manager Kevin Watson earlier this week and said: "I think we are where we want to be at the moment. Kevin is happy with how the squad is shaping-up,"

The Chats begin pre-season training on Saturday, July 2, and afterwards the club will be holding their annual BBQ at Maidstone Road.

Mr Talbot added: It’s a good opporunity for our supporters and sponsors to all get together before the forthcoming season.
