It was both good and bad news for Medway’s two acts competing in this year’s Britain’s Got Talent.

The acts who have made it through to the semi-finals were revealed in last night’s ITV1 show.

Frank Sinatra singalike Robbie, from Chatham, was not picked for the live shows - despite wowing the judges in his audition.

The seven-year-old was one of the bookies’ favourites to win the national contest after his performance of Sinatra’s My Way, with William Hill giving odds of 25/1.

But after appearing at the start of last night’s show with fellow Kent cutie Olivia Binfield, little Robbie was not shown on screen for the rest of the programme and not listed among the final 40 acts going through to the next round.

Disappointed fans posted messages on Robbie’s Facebook page. Angela Louise Evans wrote: "Robbie should of got through! He was much better than some of those dog acts!"

Jenny Owens wrote: "Gutted you never got through. You are fab, so much better than half the people through. Hope you come back next year. You’re a little superstar."

It was good news for Medway’s other talent act, Enchantment, who have got through to the semi-finals.

The circus troupe was put together by Nikki Bond, from St Mary’s Island, Chatham.

The group are thought to be up against teenage rappers Follow the Right Path and singing duo Pip and Puppy in the next round of the competition when the public get to vote for their favourite performance.

Two acts from each semi-final heat will go through will go through to the grand final on Sunday, June 5.
