A 10-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car.
Police and ambulance crews attended reports that a car had hit a child in Darnley Road, Strood.
Drivers were unable to access Darnley Road and Cuxton Road roundabout as the area was cordoned off at around 3.50pm.
A spokesman for Kent Police said: "Officers attended the scene with South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) and the child was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
"There were no serious injuries reported and a 10-year-old boy was taken to hospital as a precaution."
An employee at a nearby restaurant has said the area has now been cleared.
