Children are receiving their Medway Test results today.
This year 3,906 children took the test, which is designed to select students to attend grammar school, including 2,034 pupils from the Towns.
The minimum score required for children to be suitable to get into a Medway grammar school has increased to 492 – last year it was 488.
This year, 847 Medway pupils were assessed as eligible for a grammar school place.
Up to an additional 2% of the Medway cohort may also be deemed eligible for Medway grammar schools following the review process. The deadline to request a review is 10am on Monday, October 9.
Kent Test results are due to be released until after 4pm on Wednesday, October 18.
Secondary school applications need to be made by 5pm on Tuesday, October 31. Children are encouraged to use all six preferences.
