Three men have been arrested after police seized £50m worth of cocaine during a raid in Rochester.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police had been carrying out an investigation into an organised crime network involving the supply of class A drugs.
Yesterday they arrested three men - aged 40, 44, and 45 - on suspicion of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply.
Detectives say the seizure of 150 kilos of cocaine has disrupted a significant supply of the drug into London.
Officers have not disclosed where they found the haul, but they searched an address connected to the men that lead to the find.
The haul has an estimated street value of around £50m.
All three men are still in custody at a south London police station.
DI Colin Stephenson said: "My team continues to form alliances with other agencies to tackle the supply and availability of drugs in London and the Home Counties.
"The Met will continue to combat the criminal networks engaged in drug trafficking and prevent a large amount of cocaine flooding the streets this Christmas."
