Concerns grow for missing Burham man last seen in Minster area of the Isle of Sheppey

A man missing from near Rochester has been safely located following a police appeal.

Lee Cairns, 45, was reported missing from Burham village yesterday, and concern grew for his wellbeing.

Mr Cairns had last been seen in the Minster area of the Isle of Sheppey, more than 20 miles away from his home.

Police released an appeal, asking the public for help in tracing him.

But they have today confirmed Mr Cairns has been safely located by officers.
