A missing man has been found safe and well after police raised concerns for his welfare.

Andrew Kearns, who was last seen in the Eldon Street area of Chatham at about 10pm, has now been found.

The 47-year-old is about 5ft 7 with short, greying hair.

He was last seen wearing a green parka jacket, cargo-style green shorts and white trainers, but he was thought to also have a grey jacket with him.

Officers were appealing for information to find Andrew but confirmed this afternoon he had been found safe and well.
