Businesses teamed-up to raise awareness of urinary problems in a fun and friendly way.
As part of World Continence Week, an ice cream van visited several care homes in the county.
The roadshow was the brainchild of Blueleaf, which manufacturers adult incontinence products, and continence care suppliers Ontex.
Grace Manor Care Centre in Grange Road, Gillingham, was one of the stops.
The idea of the ice cream van was aimed at taking their residents back to their childhood.
As well as the sweet treats, staff members discussed continence care and new products.
According to the NHS, more than 50% of care home residents suffer with problems.
Head of marketing at Blueleaf, Elizabeth Butcher, said: "There is still a stigma around the topic and World Continence Week and we aim to remove that.
"If you remove it, then people are going to ask for help."
A product launched by Ontex is Orizon SMART which has sensors built into pads.
It is linked to an app which monitors liquid distribution and body posture information.
The purpose of this is to remove the amount of times carers have to check on patients when they are in bed.
By doing this they do not have to interrupt the residents sleep and reduce wet beds.
The product has been trialled in Belgium and has proved to be successful in driving costs down in care homes.
The other two locations visited was RBLI, Bradbury House, Hall Road, Ashford, and Hengist Field Care Home, Pond Farm Road, Sittingbourne.
