Cordon in place in Strood High Street after stabbing leaves man with serious injuries

A man is in hospital in a serious condition after a stabbing.

Police were called to Medway Maritime Hospital in Gillingham just before midnight after a man attended with stab wounds.

The man, who is in his 20s, was taken to a London hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

An investigation is underway and a cordon has been placed at a property in Strood High Street in connection with the incident.

Two police cars were spotted this morning outside the Nattiya Baan Thai Massage and Therapy parlour and the Morfose Kings Barbers shop, near Rochester Bridge.
