Costa Coffee has unveiled its newly-extended high street branch.
The shop in Gillingham was temporarily closed for £300,000 renovation work, which included taking over the Wells Pharmacy next door.
The coffee shop finally welcomed its first customers yesterday after shutting its doors on January 16.
It has extended its seating area into the neighbouring property and had a complete refurb inside.
Diljit Brar, managing director of owners, Goldex Investments, said: "We have been investing in Gillingham town centre since 2003. We started with residential property investments followed by commercial property.
"We have since then grown tremendously, becoming the largest Costa franchisee in the UK. We have opened over 80 Costa Coffee stores throughout the South East with the Medway area representing a large percentage of our business portfolio.
"We have now doubled the size of our current store and continue to show our faith and commitment to Gillingham Town Centre and are looking forward to welcoming the Gillingham community to our brand new store."
The firm say it has now invested around £1 million into the town centre including a gym, sales and lettings office.
