An industrial site could be getting a Costa Coffee drive-thru.
Medway City Estate in Strood could see the new addition after Southfleet-based Goldex Investments Ltd put forward the plans.
The proposals submitted to Medway Council also include space for a warehouse which would be used to store classic cars.
If the plans get the go ahead, the units would have a separate entrance to the neighbouring McDonald's and Co-op petrol station in an attempt to prevent queues.
The site close to the estate's entrance, next to Whitewall Creek, is currently unoccupied and overgrown with vegetation.
Customers would be able to sit in or take away from Costa, which will have 30 parking spaces.
Goldex boss Diljit Brar is a franchisee of the coffee giant and has 50 stores in the region.
He is also the co-owner of Kaspa's Desserts.
The council's planning department has until May 10 to decide on the plans.
