Bin collections, children’s services and plans for the Pentagon are all tackled in KMTV’s sit down with the leader of Medway Council.

Vince Maple spoke with Sofia Akin as part of a series of political chats for The Kent Politics Show, which will air on the channel this evening.

Cllr Maple, who was elected as council leader in May, was also quizzed on his plans to tackle anti-social behaviour, Labour’s pledge to keep council tax the lowest in Kent and talk of devolution.

He’ll also be asked about the General Election and whether people are voting Labour for their policies or simply for a change in government.
