Two County Lines drug dealers involved in the sale of crack cocaine across Kent will each have to repay £1 for their involvement in the racket.
Francis Sunney-Ackon and Mark Downes were part of the gang jailed for taking part in the Medway drugs line TJ .
The ring leaders, Kazeem Akinfolarin and Michael Odedina, were both jailed for almost 10 years at Maidstone Crown Court in August; others had also admitted being part of the conspiracy.
The criminal gang used an address in Albatross Road, Strood, to store a safe which, when searched by officers in December 2017, was found to contain 299 wraps of crack cocaine and 302 wraps of heroin.
Sunney-Akon, 28, of Shaw Road, Bromley, was sentenced to two years and three months and Downes, 47, of Cleesthorpe, Lincolnshire, was sentenced to three years and one month.
Prosecutor Craig Evans revealed that following an investigation under the Proceeds of Crime Act, Sunny-Akon benefited by £1,537.05 and Downs by £1,118.81 but neither had any assets with which to repay. Both were ordered to pay a nominal £1 or face seven more days in jail.
The network was smashed after detectives planted a bug in one of the boss's Mercedes car.
As leaders and lifelong friends Odedina, 31, of Gillingham, and Akinfolarin, 30, of Sheppey, plotted their plans to expand into Canterbury, Southend and the north of England police were listening in.
Detectives believe the gang netted up to £500,000 from Class A drugs sales – although the charges only involved deals which netted them an estimated £150,000 between December 2016 to October 2018.
The gang targeted vulnerable people in the Medway towns and used their homes to store drugs.
