Motorists faced delays on the A2 at Gillingham after an accident on the A289 Will Adams Way.

Police were called out just before 2pm after the A2 Sovereign Boulevard became blocked because of the crash.

Motorists were advised to find alternative routes.

A police spokesman said: "A collision was reported to have happened at 1.55pm on Watling Street, Gillingham.

"No injuries have been reported but officers are still at the scene."
