A crash between a motorbike and a car closed part of the M2.
It happened between junction 4 for Gillingham and junction 3 for Chatham/Rochester at around 6.10pm.
Highways officials said one lane is closed and motorists were warned to expect delays in the area.
The motorway fully re-opened at around 6.42pm.
No other details were available.
