A lane in the Medway Tunnel was closed after a two-vehicle crash.

Police closed the entrance to the tunnel, off the roundabout on Maritime Way, Chatham, after a car and a truck collided just before 10.30am.

One lane remained open with police re-directing traffic to the entrance on Pier Road while the vehicles were recovered. The tunnel was re-opened at noon.

It is not known if anyone was injured in the accident.
